Mathys and his wife Carly planted Lewende Woord Bronkhorstspruit 10 years ago and has had many challenges as well as successes walking in God's purpose for his life, but there came a shift in the spirit and Acts 29 The Movement was born on 29 September 2019 in Bronkhorstspruit, South Africa. The journey began in February 2019 when Mathys received word from God to establish a new movement. This word has been confirmed various times through many prophets and after a lot of prayer and fasting. The time has come to give birth to a new season in their lives, the church and the ministry. Upon conversion to Christianity, all people go through the following process:

Confess that they are a sinner in need of a Savior
Repent from that sin
Acknowledge and believe that Jesus is the One Savior who can take away their sin (because of His deity, and His death and resurrection)
Believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the promised Messiah
Receive the Holy Spirit to guide them in daily life
Have their names written in the Lamb’s book of life, where upon death they will not be destined to a life separated from God – instead, they will be ‘saved’ from eternity in hell, and receive access to heaven and eternal fellowship with God

The term ‘saved’ refers to the standing a believer has in Jesus Christ. With the guarantee of heaven, believers are ‘saved’ from eternal damnation in hell. All who are believers are sealed with the blood of Jesus Christ, and seen as righteous in the eyes of the Lord…’saved’ to be with God in heaven.

Remember, the first step of our goal is to get the lost saved. The heavens and angels rejoice each time one soul comes to repentance. Jesus leaves the 99 to go find the one lost sheep and we must do the same. Every single soul is precious to the Lord.
